Unique Teaching Techniques by Maidie

There exists new unique ways of teaching math and language arts. Teachers tend to teach the way that they were taught; that is no longer always the best way. In order to bridge this gap, workshops can be arranged for teachers, assistants, parents home schooling and other interested parties to become familiar with newer methods.
As a past facilatator in the University of Calgary's Teacher Assistant program and Columbia College's Educational Assistant program as well as a regular presenter at Teaching Assistant conferences in Alberta, I can set up custom designed workshops during the school day or after school hours at convenient locations to educators. Home-based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada we are very willing to travel wherever your needs may take us. The workshops can be of various lengths and duration and can be scheduled to meet an individual's or school’s requirements. They are perfect for Professional Development Days and Teacher or Staff Conferences.
Workshops will be planned to augment the current curriculum guide or textbook. They can be given for individuals working with students in ECS through grade 6.
